Special Educational Needs & Inclusion

Pebble Brook Primary School is an inclusive school which provides a broad and balanced curriculum for all children including those with special education needs. Within school there is a wide range of expertise and strategies and resources that the staff can use to include children with special educational needs. These include provision for pupils with emotional, social and behavioural needs as well as academic.

We provide a nurturing environment and aim to fully include children with special educational needs into all aspects of school life. Some children with high levels of need may follow a more personalised curriculum based on their individual needs.

Our special educational needs co-coordinators, Miss Daly and Ms Mottram-Clarke, is always available to talk to you if you feel your child has additional needs. She will work with you, the class teacher and your child to ensure their needs are met. Sometimes we will approach outside agencies for further support.
